Children often write to us: «I need to send my mum to Varna, she's travelling alone.» For us this is an ordinary trip. Here's how to make it a calm one.
When booking
- Tell us their age and what's hard for them: sitting for long, walking, lifting bags
- Give two phone numbers — the passenger's and yours
- Give the exact address in Bulgaria and the phone number of the person meeting them
The driver assigns the seats — precisely so that an elderly person gets a more comfortable one.
On the road
- Passport and medicines — in a small bag kept with them
- Water and light food for 12 hours
- Money for the fare: 80 € in cash in euros, lei or dollars
- A charged phone; the driver has a charger
- A note with the address and phone of the person meeting them
On the road
Stops every 2–3 hours at petrol stations with a toilet and café. At the border passengers usually stay in the van. The driver helps with bags at pick-up and drop-off.
On arrival
In Bulgaria we take them to the door and call the person meeting them 30 minutes ahead. In Chisinau the return trip arrives at the Lukoil station at 20:30 — meet them there.
