The first question we get on the phone: «Do you go through Ukraine?» No. None of our trips crosses the Ukrainian border — neither there nor back.

Why it matters
On the map, the shortest road from Moldova to Bulgaria goes through the Odesa region, and some carriers drive that way. We don't: our route runs entirely through Moldova, Romania and Bulgaria.
Many of our passengers are Ukrainian citizens living in Moldova who travel to Bulgaria to family, their own homes or on business. They need to know the route in advance, so we say it plainly.
What about the borders
Both borders are with the EU. At the Romanian entry, citizens of non-EU countries have their fingerprints and photo taken: this is the new common Schengen entry system. There are eight people in the minibus, so we pass the checks much faster than a bus. Details — in the article how the Giurgiulesti — Galati border works.
Which documents to bring depends on your citizenship. The general guide for Ukrainian citizens is here.
